Types of specialty scaffolding include:

                      Scaffold


  • A pump jack scaffold which is a platform supported by vertical poles.
  • A ladder jack scaffold which is a platform supported by brackets attached to ladders.
  • A roof bracket scaffold which is a platform supported by triangular shaped supports.


General Scaffold Requirements:-


  • The gap between the last plank.
  • Planks should not extend past the ends of the scaffold frames more than 12 inches.
  • The platform should be free from clutter.
  • A defective scaffold must be removed from service.
